After a week in Home MTC, Elder Wilde was driven to the Pasco Airport where he said good-bye to his family for two years. It is always an emotional day when a missionary leaves!
Elder Wilde's cousin returned from his mission the day before Elder Wilde was leaving for his, so they were able to see each other for one day!
Six years ago, Elder Wilde said good-bye for two years to his brother, Tyson, who was leaving for his mission to Ukraine. Now, in 2025, the roles were reversed with Tyson saying good-bye to his younger brother.
