 Dear Brother and Sister Wilde,

We are pleased to announce that, under the inspiration of the mission president, Elder Wilde has been called as a Zone Leader in the Belize City Zone. We're grateful for the service and blessings that Elder Wilde has brought to our mission and for the lives that he has brought unto Christ since he´s been here. We are honored to have Elder Wilde as a missionary in our mission.

Week 48 - June 15, 2026

Lets Go To The Beach Beach Lets Go Get Away

Quick recap. I hit 11 months and will now be in Belize City Belize on the beach.

Highlights
🇧🇿: Wellll I guess I got back-to-back of the missionaries' dreams here. The Coban 2 temple area and now I will be going to Belize City. To start, the house has queen beds, brand new ac, a gym, and then you walk outside and you're right next to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. I'll slide a picture here for reference. The sad thing is that I will be teaching in the ENGLISH language now. But at least the other ward we have is in Spanish so I'll be able to practice still. So from the temple, the mountains, and the jungle to the beach and ocean. Feel free to come visit me guys.

🎁: President went out and did visits with us and we got to do a family home evening with him and the Soto family, and that was so so cool. Presi is such a dawg.
🇺🇸: The US might just win the World Cup. I've told everyone here that. But what a performance (I've heard…).
🥳: I had the opportunity to give a talk in church this Sunday. I can't lie though, being a missionary and giving a talk makes it so much easier. Basically, just hit a spiritual thought and making it a little longer. Calm little repentance talk.
👔: This week I found four ties in a paca (thrift store) that I'm hyped to use, so I guess that's good.
😦: This is my last week with Elder Morby, and I'm honestly super sad. The family genetics had to hit me with the emotional side, so we hoping I don't shed a tear leaving my boy. It has been truly some of the best time of my life here with Morberto, and we have seen so many miracles. I'll forever be grateful for our time here.

Spiritual Thought

This week in our family home evening with Presi, we had a super amazing chat about the story of King David. As we were reading, it reminded me of the story of the rich boy that asked Jesus what more he needed.

21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
,
King David wasn't the strongest, he wasn't the tallest, and he wasn't the smartest out of all of his brothers. But God picked him out of all his brothers to be king of Israel. I imagine both of these kids, David and the rich boy, were thinking very similar things. Maybe David was nervous about what his brothers and city were going to say about him being made king instead of them. Maybe the rich boy was worried about what his friends were going to say to him about having nothing. Both of them were most likely not very prepared for God's request.

However, God doesn't look at the physical rather he looks towards the heart. His plan is always perfect. He knows us perfectly and loves us unconditionally. He looks at our hearts to magnify our outward efforts. When we try our best to turn our heart to him, he will always magnify the blessings seen in the outcome.

I hope you all have great weeks. I'll just be learning Creole out here. God du da Wanda Wanda ting

Week 47 - June 8, 2026

The Vineyard

Highlights
🌊: Krisleth got baptized this week!!!
🕍: We got to do baptisms in the temple with some of our recent converts, and it was sooooo unreal. I love doing baptisms in the temple.

🐭: Morby and I were talking about childhood TV shows and I thought of Mickey Mouse and had to explain to him how for family home evening I would make everyone in the fam hit a dance from the intro. Too good. Shoutout the fam for that.
🏠:We had our interviews with President this week and we also had house checks. So, we spent two late nights cleaning the house. We also have one of the biggest houses in the mish and it hadn't been cleaned in at least a year. Couldn't even recognize the place. The trash man was in shock as we handed him 15 massive bags of garbage 😦.
🎱: We have our transfer call this week.
⚽️. World Cup starting. We are BIG Argentina fans out here. And nobody gonna want to stop and listen to us.

🔥🔥 Q & A W/ Elder Morby 🔥🔥
I asked him, Q. If you could go anywhere in the world. Any tourist destination. Any country. All expenses paid for a whole week where would you go? And he said Seattle. I said no no you can go anywhere in the world. But he insisted on Seattle…

Spiritual Thought

Jacob 5

71 And the Lord of the vineyard said unto them: Go to, and labor in the vineyard, with your might. For behold, this is the last time that I shall nourish my vineyard; for the end is nigh at hand, and the season speedily cometh; and if ye labor with your might with me ye shall have joy in the fruit which I shall lay up unto myself against the time which will soon come.

72 And it came to pass that the servants did go and labor with their mights; and the Lord of the vineyard labored also with them; and they did obey the commandments of the Lord of the vineyard in all things.

Week 46 - June 1, 2026

For These Are the Things Jesus Taught

Well, I go home this month next year so that feels kinda crazy

Highlights
🌊: Didier and Stephanie Soto were baptized and their dad that we baptized a couple weeks ago baptized them. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

⛈️: Grandma, don't worry, I took your advice in the email and have been trying to stay away from the lightning. Storms were going crazy here this week though and the streets were just rivers.
💍: Our recent convert proposed to his girl at the ward activity.
🇬🇹: We had our Multi-Zona and that was super good. It's always energizing to see the Dawgs again. I missed my boys.
🚕: Morby and I had the worst taxi driver ever and this dude had the nerve to ask us if we wanted to save his number so we could call him when we need a drive. Passenger Prisoner treatment.
🌯: Morby and I learned how to make tortillas this week with the Soto Family. They also made us dinner Thursday, Friday, Saturday and also breakfast on Sunday so… they are solid converts I'd say. The mom also bought me a ton of multi-vitamins for free cause she said I have lost weight from my before-mission picture to now.

🔝: Morby and I had to share some testimonies about what we thought about missionary work to the ward in order to motivate them to participate. We got 20 texts after the sacrament meeting to come visit with us throughout the week 😳😳😳.
💳: Morby left his mission card in the ATM machine and now it's lost.
👦: We had an army of middle school kids yelling at us and when I responded if they wanted a picture, they went insaneeee. Morby and I were crying laughing.
💯: Hot take of the week. Morby says that “Block” needs to be to changed to Blahc to fit pronunciation. I'm there for it tho.
🌊: Krisleth canceled her vacation so she could get baptized next Sunday. She a dawg fr.

Spiritual Thought

Recently on the mission I've really tried to focus on having charity. The more I've tried to love the people, more than anything else, the more I've seen miracles and the pure form of joy. The fulfillment of the missionary purpose is not one of the factors in finding the love of the mission, rather the fulfillment of your missionary objective and love for the mission are direct products of the love you have for the people you are teaching and around every day.

The love of the mission does not come with the completion of numbers. It all starts once you choose to serve instead of work. We are called to “serve". If we choose to serve, everything will follow and fall into place as it should.

God does not give us the attributes we ask for; rather he gives us the opportunity to exercise the attributes we want to improve.

“Love one another as Jesus loves you.

Try to show kindness in all that you do.

Be gentle and loving in deed and in thought,

For these are the things Jesus taught.”

Hope you have blessed weeks
